Approved: New Woolworths for Springwood

Planning Approval Granted:
The Sydney Western City Planning Panel approved the Springwood Woolworths project on 6 November 2025.

This marks an exciting milestone in delivering the project — a high-quality restoration of The Oriental Hotel and the development of a new retail store that will create local jobs, provide convenient retail options, and enhance the heart of Springwood.

We are now working through the detailed approval conditions with Council and our consultant team and will continue to keep the community updated as the project progresses.
